Also loved 1989 Pro Set Football when it came out. Not sure if I had a favorite in the set, but I guess maybe the Aikman or Sanders rcs.
This card is easily my favorite though. I remember vividly the day my older brother who was 12 at the time gave me all his football cards. He knew I loved them (I was 7 at the time). I could not believe he even gave me his coveted Archie Manning card. I still have the beat up one from back then, but do not have it scanned, we will have to make due with this scan of one I have graded:
I think I've just fuigured out why I have a hard time getting interested in collecting 70's-80's football. Just exactly how many sets are there that have the helmets airbrushed due to licensing issues? That is SO off-putting to me - makes the players look like characters in some awful sports movie.
