Two new Fat Heads for the Collection(s)

The first is the Fat Head $5 that I was outbid, Laura/Legend was the high bidder, she found out that I was the underbidder via the forum, and then she offered it to me for a pittance over her final cost. (I guess is pays to be a blabbermouth!). These are the Heritage photos:

Here's the photo on CoinFacts:

None of these photos are very good, and I will have to get it reshot at some point.
The second
was a holiday gift from my son. James Harrison is the fiercest Steelers LB since Greg Lloyd (who was the fiercest LB since Jack Lambert), and his image is applied to the wall in the workout room of my basement. Like the Clay Matthews Fat Head commercial, these are very realistic and give you the impression that the player is really coming through your wall, which is exactly the motivation that one often needs to do the extra rep, push up, time on the bike, etc.

So, thanks to Laura for salvaging my FUN auction and to Jack (my son) for the great Steelers gift.

Harrison got to the top with a huge chip on his shoulder for being undrafted, cut, etc. and only knows one way to play. Which means he'll keep getting fined and suspended. I'll be rooting for the Steelers for at least one week -- take down the Donkeys. Please.

You did good with both.

<< <i>Love your new coin, but must say that I don't respect the dirty play of Harrison and think he is a poor role model for a kid. >>
I suspect that you have a superficial understanding of the recent evolution of the rules regarding tackling, high hits, etc., and this is a very confusing, nebulous area for NFL players. In fact, I cannot recall ever seeing a Harrison late hit or any activity outside the whistles.
As far as being a role model, I would put Harrison's record of charity and community service up against the player of your choosing.
Finally, Harrison had a very difficult road to the NFL, had to work harder than most to overcome obstacles, and persevere in circumstances that many would have given up. His autobiography is titled, "Never Give up!" This is precisely the lesson I would want to teach my children--that if you work hard, you will have success.
He is the kind of player that you would like on your team. Ask Cleveland Browns' Josh Cribbs, who was knocked out of a game by Harrison last year, but was a college teammate at Kent State.
