Picked up my very first four "CC"s today

Too bad they are just medallions. Looks like pure copper to me. They were struck on the original CC coin presses though!

Can't imagine any are worth much, but I could only find the least Pony Express one (bottom left) which sold on ebay for a few bucks. I quite like the upper left one and will likely keep it, and sell the other three. They've all started to tone a bit, starting with the centre.

Yes they are cool. Copper too!

The upper left one has the Nevada State Seal and it's a cool seal for sure.

Found a pic with me and coiner Ken Hopple standing in front of the coin press that
made your token (Press Number One). I'm holding the first Carson City dollar ever
    minted.

    Nice looking pieces, Pokermandude!

I noticed the upper left has the reverse of the HK-19 (thanks for the image AUandAG!). That's my favorite SCD. Designed by William Barber, struck at the Philly mint for the Centennial Expo, from Nevada silver, total mintage of 2,526 (not including any that weren't sold), that's the one SCD I'd love to own in MS, but prices seem all over the place. One just sold on ebay, this week, an NGC MS62PL, for $815, though I have seen non-PL examples listed with BIN's of over $1,000. 'so-calleddolllars.com (no affiliation) has one listed, an NGC Unc-net details, improper cleaning, for $395. For those of you that know the SCD series, is that $815 a fair price, too high, or...? I know the old Hibler Kappen book had prices that weren't exactly accurate, and the recently released SCD book, I believe, while mintages and rarieties have been updated, I don't believe it lists prices...but I haven't seen that new book. So, not to hijack the thread, but can anyone tell me about the pricing on this piece? Was $815 too much for a graded 62PL??? Am I going to have to start saving up big for a piece similarily graded??? Thanks!

And, those are 4 nice medals you got there, Pokermandude!!

    I'll come up with something.
