1964 Kennedy reverse double die / thanks CPG

Just wanted to thank my wife for purchasing the new Cherrypicker Guide. I decided to go back a take another look at some proof sets I had laying around and wouldn't you know, I found this....

It's still inside the cello packaging from the mint so it's difficult to discern exactly what the grade would be but conservatively it's at least a 65 so it has a little bit of a premium...not a homerun, but a nice single up the middle..image

    Very cool the gift that keeps on giving, Funny how it works they say it all the time on this board buy the book 1st. It's the key to many doors that are locked and opens your eyes to many thing you would pass up that are worth more then you think..Have fun Cherrypicking.image

    I could not see any split serifs in those pictures...so would agree with frnklnlvr, appears to be machine/shelf doubling. Cheers, RickO
