I just wanted to say that this is an awesome endeavor and I wish you luck in completing it.

This set brings back so many good memories of collecting when I was younger! I purchased the Steve Young when it came out and still have it. It might have been the first pack-inserted autograph that I purchased.

Thanks moose. That's cool that it evokes good memories for you. It does the same for me. I bought box after box back then chasing the Emmitt Smith auto card. Never got it and had to buy it as a single. This was THE football set in 94. Great colors and graphics and of course the auto subset.

Just updating my list. I sent out three more cards today. Two are tough signs. Oj McDuffie of Penn State fame and Scott Mitchell of the Dolphins. I tracked down Mr Mitchell to his office in Utah. I hope he feels the love and signs my card. Hopefully I will be updating the thread in the future with these two.

Funny you ask. Scott Mitchell, I did not. He's signed stuff in the past but since he quite his HS coaching job, he hasn't been very regular.

All of the McDuffie successes have included some sort of "gift". I slipped $10.00 in the cardsaver. I'm hoping he doesn't view it as an insult.

Nope. Emmitt was part of the manufacturer auto set. I have a few copies of the card.
