Morgans and a Possible Proof Penny?

Found a Morgan =) Definitely keeping it, looks very nice. But I can't help wonder if it was cleaned with something or not. Regardless though keeping it for the looks. Should I get this holdered?

Also found someone using this penny. A coin collector at work (who got me hooked into collecting lol) told me it might be the penny from 2009 that you can only get in a set. There's a dent etc. from use though, keeping also regardless but is it worth holdering? Am starting to think I like the coins looking non graded than graded as long as it's in a slab though.

Hi,, yes the Morgan appears to have been cleaned. Can you see little parallel scratches on the front?
The cent appears to be a normal circulating cent and probably not worth keeping. If it had been in some
special set it has since been abused with circulation.

    Keep looking!

Drats ok. Well keeping it regardless, looks pretty lol.

Time to go back to BST or eBay to find them! Looking for a 1921-D Morgan MS66. Heard that was a good one to have =)

Why would you want to get these holdered? The morgan is a pretty much a cull worth spot and the penny is worth a penny.

    Peacemonkey:

I was thinking the same. Or is the penny one of those special copper ones? But after circulating use/abuse, is it still worth any premium, slabbed or not?

Neither is worth getting graded... buy some slabs and entomb them yourself.... Cheers, RickO
