Whitman book on Carson City Morgan Dollars ??

How good is this book ? Any thoughts ?

It is a great book for those with little backgound in GSA CC Morgans. It is an easy read and not intended to be a total reference manual. Has some good backgound on the mint history and the GSA sale and then some info on each year of the CC hoard coins. It's only 124 pages and I think suitable for YN's as well.

IMO, this moderately priced book is a must-have for anyone who collects GSA Carson City dollars. A revised and expanded Second Edition is hot-off-the-press.

If you're getting your first copy, go for the new 2nd edition --- the one with a white cover. It's expanded and updated. (The 1st edition had a red cover.)
