Hard to believe he finds enough gold to make it worth while.

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

He finds a lot of semi precious stone chips that are worth nothing in resale and quotes I can get $30 each for them which is retail. That's how they come up with $300 a day.image

A clever story based on what you hear about Jewelery districts in India.

My grandfather was a goldsmith and tore up the linoleum floor of his shop after many decades to extract the gold imbedded.

    Their was hardly anything there.

While I'm sure something could be found at times, in general I think this is BS.

But... if you are unemployed and living in your parents house, why not go for it? American enterprise at least.

Once he mines a length of sidewalk, it may take a decade or more before it's worthwhile to remine that length of sidewalk so he will eventually run out of sidewalks to mine since the size of the gold district is limited. Or am I overthinking this?image

This was an imaginative put-on or joke in my opinion.

  • Funny.

Probably the only mining operation in the world that leaves the site cleaner than it was before (not considering his garage in Queens).

Interesting concept... not sure I believe $300/day... but no doubt he does find some gold. Cheers, RickO
