Should I sell early?

I listed a set break of 1961 baseball on Ebay last night, all of them auctions. Today I get a message from a guy asking me to end 6 of the listings early, re-list them all with a BIN of $20 apiece. I am to message him back today to let him know when I've done that so he can purchase them. Just for grins I checked VCP on the 6 cards he asked about, $66, $53, $49, $27, $65, and $72 is what I came up with. Obviously I'm not going to do it, but how would you respond to him?
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

I wouldn't. He might be "using book", but that's the only legit excuse he could have for suggesting those prices.

"Thank you for the offer, but I let all of my auctions run their full duration."
I also respond to these type of emails real simple...."I do not stop auctions once engaged". Probably piss him off, but most understand.

Thanks, those are mine. I have not responded back to the guy. Funny, almost every time I run an auction with high end cards I get at least one laughable offer.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
If you want to be nice tell him based on past recent sales I will have to pass since these cards have been going for $30 to $70 a piece in this condition. If you are interested in closer to fair market value offers I may give somewhat of a break on them all but I will have to decline on selling them for about a third of what they have been going for.
If it's not him, he should still be added to any & all BBL's........
