AU50 and harshly cleaned---wrap it in a Taco Bell napkin and put it in a warm humid part of yor house. I'll still be cleaned but giving it some toning will make it look more natural.

Uh, if the OP payed that much I'd return it.

My first impression was cleaned low AU as well.

Don't send it in for grading.

Genuine, AU details, cleaned & dipped. A very tough coin to locate, I'm still looking for one. Glad to see you're working on a set! Welcome to the "Trade Dollar Conglomerate."*

The holder is fine, but the coins surfaces are not original. Im not sure what these normally go for, but I hope you didnt pay a premium.

The first pics make it look harshly cleaned but it looks like a decent coin in the second set of pics---almost like two different coins. Perhaps it was dipped (as are many PCGS coins) and the lighting in the first set of pics made every hairline stand out. I guess coin photography can make the same coin look either good or bad depending on the angle and intensity of the lighting and the angle the picture was taken.

I've been dabbling in coin photography and it's pretty easy to make just about any circulated coin appear to have hairlines. Just point some higher intensity lights directly at the coin and take a picture nearly dead on. I was freaking out the other day when an otherwise awesome looking original surface T$ appeared to show hairlines in my pics. Most circulated coins will show some lines from abrasive contact with other coins and materials, but you normally can't see them until you bring out the brighter lights.

The OP coin was cleaned at some point, as many have pointed out, which will also lend towards showing the contact marks since they more easily reflect in the pictures if there's no skin over them. Nice job picking up an 1875 as your third trade dollar. I'm a bit past #3 and have been able to locate a few other "harder to find" trade dollars but haven't found the right 75p yet.

    Nice coin.
This is one series where P-mint coins are tougher to find then their mm counterparts in most years. I got my 1875 many years ago- I don't remember what it looks like-I need to take a trip to the bank. 1874-P is difficult also in nice circ grades and an 1876-P is no easy task either. I need three more for this set. Two of which are proof only issues.

I share with others the immediate response of genuine cleaned and XFdetails. It is a nice example of a historically interesting time in the economics and commerce of the US; before international trust in plastic and devalued currency.
