At what point should I give up?

This may sound petty, but it is the principle. A seller came here on the boards and said that he had some stuff on ebay. I checked it out and found some things I liked and he had a combined shipping deal, so I bought a couple things. I didn't hear from the seller, so I sent a "Request for total" via ebay. Then another one a couple days later. Then another one a couple days later. And a PM through this site. No responses at any point. Now, it is only a couple bucks that I would be saving, but I am starting to think that if a seller won't respond to three messages through ebay and a PM through here, that maybe the seller is too busy to deal with my money and maybe I should spend it elsewhere. Should I just send it and pay the double shipping? Should I just wait? It has been eight days since I bought these items. Should I pay separately and ask for them to be shipped separately? Or should I figure that this person is someone I don't want to do business with at all?

    Doesn't ebay tell us that the seller should respond within 2 to 3 days ?

    I'd give up though. It's not really that important in the grand scheme of things.

    Sam, that would piss me off too. I would just forget about the stuff and not do business with them again.

    If you could please PM me to let me know who it is, I would also like to know so I don't do business with this individual.
