Shipping w/ Paypal - electronic "hits" on the account?
So, I shipped out 2 coin items on Saturday and I like to use the multi-shipping tool on paypal.
I don't do a ton of paypal shipments but when I do need to ship coins, I prefer it that way.
One thing I have noticed, as I don't keep funds in my paypal account, is that paypal doesn't seem to let me choose my method of payment (ie.....only takes from an existing balance or, if none, then straight from the bank account....no option for using attached CC).
That gets to my next point.....I believe that some/most/all banks have a limit of 6 electronic actions on an account, per month. At least, I was told that a few years ago and I haven't hit it but am wondering.....do the paypal payments for shipping, that get pulled out of your bank account, count against that, and if so, what do folks do once you hit the limit of 6?
Or, is there somewhere I am missing on paypal that will enable me to change where the funds come from, to set it to my attached CC?

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

<< <i>The six limit is for savings account electronic transfers. you can have as many teller transactions as you want but only 6 EFTs. Checking accounts can have as many transactions as you want, EFT or paper checks, doesn't matter which. >>
Ahhh...thanks for the clarification.
I do have it hooked to a savings account at my CU, which is likely why I would hit it.
I don't keep much in that checking account and prefer any funds to be in the savings (which also isn't a lot in that particular account).
Wish they (paypal) would let one choose the method of payment for shipping....

Governments can print currency. Only the people can print faith in it — and they’re running low on ink.

Not exactly true...you can only make 6 withdrawals per month from a savings account, period. It doesn't matter if it's in person, electronic or you send your pet to make the transaction. (Federal Law) But you can make unlimited deposits though.

With our credit union, it's a limit of 6 electronically/online, but unlimited movement in person.

I stand corrected...There was a change in Reg D in 2009, where withdrawals made in person or by mail are no longer subject to reg D'S withdrawal limitations.
<< <i>I purchase the paypal shipping first, while the funds are still in my paypal account, then I transfer remaining funds to the bank account. >>
same here. can`t imagine doing it any other way.
