Way out of my league to GTG on gold but a beautiful coin. Good pickup.

Way back when I was a young melvin289 my goal was to purchase a St. Gaudens $20 gold piece.
Back then they could be bought all day long for $75 for common dates. Wish I had bought a ton of them.
But the sad part is I have never owned one.

The elephant in the dining room is grading on US Gold IMO. A British gold coin would be call good EF, and when slabbed would be lucky to hit 64.

I will go 65, I just can not see 66.

nice coin. but, i say 64. it's hard to give it a much higher guess than that without seeing it in hand. very nice rev though. if the obv was that good i'd be in the 66 camp too.

A man who knows his Saints maybe!Pics suck compared to the coin in hand.Its a PCGS 66+,and with no glass you are hard presses to find many CAC coins this clean.But what do i know,i just buy cool high end coins.
