What is a reasonable trade for...

A 1oz eagle to 1/10 oz eagles...

Would 9 be enough to make it a fair trade? Maybe 9 and a silver eagle?

I use Tulving AGE prices as a guide to premium differences:

    1 oz. - 3.9% over spot
    1/2 oz. - 6.5%
    1/4 oz. - 10%
    1/10 oz. - 12%

I'd say nine $5 AGEs and about $50 is equal to a single $50 AGE in today's market.

This is right on the money.
  • Thanks guys. The tulving ratios/premiums are pretty standard despite the POG right?

right. premiums have crept up over the last few years but seem to have done so proportionately. More a paper vs. physical thing. You can also use someone like APMEX to compare premiums but tulving makes it easier by quoting their price in premium percentage over spot.
