That being said, I wouldnt be surprised if it was in a 64 holder. But if that is putty, im wondering what is underneath.

I am a bit concerned about the color, too. I would need to see the coin in hsnd. I am more worried about a bake job than putty. In radiology terms, we might say something like "could be cancer, could be normal".
The coin itself is in a PCGS MS-61 rattler holder and does look nice in hand.
