Buyer wants me to ship to a PO Box...

Maybe a rudimentary question but I was hoping to get some board experience.
My BIN buyer wants me to ship to a PO box in the same town as his Paypal confirmed street address. He has plenty of feedback. Would you go ahead and ship to the PO box with signature confirmation and insurance, or follow the rules and only ship to the paypal confirmed address?

I would follow the Pay Pal rules if it was me.
if it's a low cost item it wouldn't bother me, otherwise it's best to play by PayPal's rules.

Only ship to confirmed paypal address. Unless its small value item and you can leave with the risk of chargeback.

<< <i>I live in Southern West Virginia. We do not have street addresses in this area, but because of 9-11, all our driver's licenses have to state a street address, so we use our fire address which is not in the postal system as only boxes exist. Many companies require street addresses regardless of where you live, so these are utilized and ups finds them by going to the P.O. and asking where we live. Makes sense, right. The problem is that the P.O. will not accept these nonexistant addresses and will only accept P.O. Boxes. Makes ordering over the net a challenge. What is really funny is that our State Police HQ has a P.O. Box on their door for an address but will not accept our P.O. Boxes for an address on our D.L. Perhaps your buyer is in a similar situation and you are shipping via usps. Just a thought.

He's apparently a dealer as well.
He mentioned that his PO Box was confirmed too, but I'm not sure if I can see that after the fact?

In general I prefer shipping to PO boxes. That way I don't worry so much about packages getting stolen from someone's street box or their stoop or wherever the mailman leaves the package.

My girlfriend--later my fiancee and now my wife--shared the same P.O. box address with me.
Her mama did not like this at all. Not at all. We were not married. What would people think?
Finally my fiancee said to her: "Mama...there's not much we can do in a post office box..."

No street addresses? - That is very interesting. Can you post a few photos of this? I did not know any part of the US was still that "way out backwoods". ?
Vermont has lots of small towns like that. Everyone gets their mail at the PO.

<< <i>I would question why his PO Box is not a confirmed address. I have problems with an occasional seller because I do not receive mail or deliveries at my home(stubborn UPS and Fed-Ex fans....I absolutely will not do Fed-EX!). My PO Box is confirmed though. >>
I cant believe I remember even though you only have 33 posts..

I wouldn't be too worried if they had good feedback. Or just say no, I have to ship to a physical address. If its the same town I doubt theyll mind.
<< <i>I routinely ship to any requested address, confirmed or not, and have never had a single problem - ebay feedback around 12000. >>
If you ship to an address not provided by eBay/PayPal sooner or later you'll get burned. You've just been lucky so far.
