I realize most of y'all probably don't give a fiddler's fart if I collect all my past polls in one place or not.

But this index is mostly for my own personal reference, so nyah nyah. image

Nevertheless, if you DO find "GTG" (Guess The Grade) polls interesting and/or fun, well, then... enjoy!

Thanks for lookin'.

Maybe I can build another "virtual type set" this way. I don't have enough free cash to tie up in an entire set at the moment, so some of these coins will be sold (in fact, some have already been sold). But I suppose they can be "collected" here. This is the first time I've seen all the pictures arrayed together, and I think they look nice, even if I do say so myself.

These days I'm all about the circulated type coins with modest grade and/or price but high eye appeal.

That's my niche, and I'm stickin' to it. At least for the moment. image

Well, it's been two and a half years or so since I bumped this index thread.

For the last few years, I've done these polls for most of my US coin purchases.

I've long since discontinued some of the sets I was working on and since 2014 I have distilled almost everything down to an "Eclectic Box of 20" set, with a mixture of World and US material.

So while I might only have less than half a dozen US coins in my collection at any given time these days, they're likely going to be nicer than some of the circulated material I was collecting in my 2008-2013 "lean times".

Mind you, I'm not done with circulated coins, by any means. I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for nice circulated 19th century US type.

    Thanks, ricko.

I can always count on you for a positive word, whether it's on the Liteside, the Darkside, or the MD forum.

Like me, you seem to get around, and I appreciate the kindness.
