Ben Stein says the end for gold

""There's no alternative." No, gold bugs, he doesn't think being long commodities is a long-term solution, either. He's actually terrified of gold.
Noting that investors who bought gold as long ago as 1978 would still be "licking their wounds" on an inflation-adjusted basis, Stein says it'll likely be the Chinese who pull the rug out from under gold this time. If and when the Chinese realize hoarding the barbaric metal has been a mistake "that will be the end for gold."

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
I rest my case.
I knew it would happen.

All I know is that he's made some pretty bad calls in the markets over the past 5 years. The kinds of calls that crush you for years.

Agree 100%. May be throwing the baby out with the bath water, but once an actor, always an actor...and actors are almost always deluded and disconnected from reality (few exceptions here...Reagan for one). Quick or easy wealth has a tendency to blind one to JSP's (me!) plight.

agree
almost every star on TV or Hollywood can say something, anything and have their lemmings.
those stars tend to follow whatever is in the majority regardless so as not to hurt their popularity.
thanks for the other link MJ. Stein is really "falso" ( i did that in Italian just for you....any you know why
Point being that someone can be wrong 99% for the time, but there is always that pesky 1%.
Other than that I dont know if there are many more postives I can say about him.

I appreciate it when some mouthpiece states a big change in either direction cause it brings out the true believers and confidants!
Keep the faith comrades...
