The "Official" 30th Anniversary Silver Eagle Set Thread

Is it too early to start the ramp up to the 30th anniversary set? I'm kinda over the 25th.......image

Silver will be either $150 an ounce, or $15 an ounce.

Actually, this is the 4th one already, but the 3rd "Official"! Search 30th.

Would it be considered premature to start presales now?

Next year is the 15th anniversary of the plats. The Mint did produce a special coin in 2007 (10th anniversary). So . . .

Unfortunately they are running the "Constitution" series right now.

They'd need a separate plat. coin to have a differently packaged 15th anniversary set.

They could use the 2012 "Constitution" design for a 15th Anniversary coin.

As precedent, in 2007 they used that year's "Executive" design (part of a 3-year series) for a 10th Anniversary reverse proof.

Could the Mint issue 1/2 ounce Coins in a Platinum Anniversary set? Given that the 10th Anniversary Plat Sets were such a flop, count me out on any 15th Sets.
