I mentioned a few days ago that I found some very old rolls of BU Morgan dollars in an auction. These looked like the day they were minted, plus most only had 1 or 2 die parings. Seven rolls (140 coins) total including 2 rolls 1899-O, 2 rolls 1886, 2 rolls 1883-O, and a spectacular roll of 1881-S's. The 81-S roll are all PL & DMPL's. The 83's, 86's and 99's are all original and look like most would grade 64 and better. Three of the 1881-S coins have what I can only describe as Battle Creek color.

I'm picking them up tomorrow and I'll post some pictures.

Contest part...

Guess how much I paid "out the door" and I give the closest guess a PCGS graded coin...

NewParadigm guessed $6785 which is only $2.17 off. I paid $6782.83.
PM me your address and and I'll send you a 1945 Lincoln Cent PCGS MS65 RED
I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.
Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.
