I would call it an FA2, though I believe it is on the verge of AG3. Nowhere near close to Good.

No way AG3, so it's either FR2 or a PO1, one of the 2.

For a 1, you'd need to have the date more than half gone and the mint mark imperiled.

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking 2, but it was a bit of a guess.
keyman64 asked about the weight. An 1883-O and an 1896-P, both unc, each showed 27.0g on my scale. This 1889-O was 24.8g.
