Will this 1964 Kennedy Accented Hair Cam???

Picked it up today at a small local coin show........$18 for the proof set
It was unopened, and it turned out to be an accented hair.

What do you think?

I think it could use a dip though

I know its almost impossible to grade proofs but.......any guesses?

My guess is no. But, I am not good with proofs, so take my guess with a grain of salt.

Hard to tell from that picture, can not see the three defining characteristics.
I will say it is not becasue the rays on the reverse are not broken enough
to say Accented Hair.

Tiny, if you are saying you're not sure if it is AH, the truncated I gives it away and the extra hair is usually a big clue

The question is not whether or not the coin is an Accented HAir, but whether or not the coin will achiev the CAMEO designation if sent in for grading.

The reverse will hands down, it's the obverse lettering that is lacking...dunno, it's one of those that could go either way, wrap it in a $twenty and submit.

First I need to explain that today in downtown Jacksonville there was what seemed to be a never
ending stream of Florida and Georgia Co-Eds walking pass my office with large front windows. And
as it may be unlike the upper parts of the east coast covered with snow it was a very nice fairly warm day
and most of them seemed to wear just as least as they could as to not get arrested and that had tendency to
take the breath away from an old guy like myself. I use to sell tickets to my Buds to sit in the front of my office
but they like myself having attained the age of sixty or better they felt this year it would perhaps be better if
they would not partake of this anual event. Instead for their viewing pleasure I make a 6 hour DVD so that they
could in the comfort of their own home or nearest ICU which is at Baptist Hospital just across the river enjoy the show.
The Florgia / Georgia Weekend is always a real big event here in Jacksonville and brings a large amount of people to town.
The problem with my first reply to the OP was that I was still under my oxygen mask and misread the question by the OP. I
wish to apologize to him and also the others that have brought my misspoke to my attention. I can only hope that
there is forgiveness in his and the other's hearts and Please believe me when I say I am sorry.

Okey Dokey, to answer the OP's question.

Again I say it is hard to tell from the picture but I think it might make cam. There is one thing that I think we've
all missed about this coin and that is I think it may be a very rare VAM. Yes, if you look at the reverse on the upper
part of the sheild it appeares to be that this Kennedy is one of the rearest of all a " Questionable Variety " . Can you see it,
the " ? " that appears to be stamped into the sheild.

Very good pick up. The coin will at least cameo on both sides is my call. Russ hopefully will chime in he is by far the expert on these.
