Sales are hitting $800 now on ebay for the anniversy sets

Did anyone fall for dealers offering $85 or $100 over spot, if so I wonder if anyone will really honor their agreement when they see these selling for $800 now or maybe even $1000 once these sets start reaching the public. I can hear the stories already, "oh, it never came", my credit card was declined", etc...

I also guarantee alot of people on ebay who bought in for $500 or under are going to be hearing bs stories from the sellers and getting refunds. It is unfortunate, but I bet the majority of people who got great prices on ebay will never see their sets and sellers agreeing to sell to dealers or national coin companies on the bst or anywhere else will probably have their bs stories also. How many people do you really think who agreeed to sell these sets in advance for $400 or even $500 will put them in a box to ship off when they can get $800 for the same set and not to mention when you are talking 5 sets?

I also wonder who really needs to sell to a national coin company or dealer when they can go on ebay, get their money in adance along with top dollar. Ebay is paying $800 right now, ok I will sell to these want ads from national dealers and coin companies for $425 with payment after they receive the coins, yeah right.

with order number and buyer's last name anyone can check status of order on mint's "Track Order" page without having to log in. Only thing they can't see on the screen is full name and address and cancel box. Dealer's buying here will know if coins were shipped to mint customer as long as they got a last name along with the order number when the struck the deal.

You think we has ASE threads now? Wait til all the backing out of deals gets started.

If you struck an early deal here with a member hopefully you will honor it. I hope the dealers let the rest of us know of those that don't. I prefer not to do BST business with a person whose word is not worth more than a couple of hundred bucks.

I wouldn't buy or sell any sets until everyone has them in hand and can ship immediately . I just think pre-sales are bogus and just asking for trouble

When these ARE actually in hand I bet the price will drop initially and greed will cause more to hit the market...

...and then when the graded sets arrive THEN the true market will START to declare itself.

Tulip ball mania. 500K collectors and 100K set is a no brainer. I could be wrong but don't think so. At least I will have 150 ounces of bullion silver if these go bust.

I made a "commitment" to a fellow board member to sell my 5 sets for $2050, I told him if I got them, they where his.
(I got in early so I should at least get my/his 5 coins

However, I have 3 friends, not even into coins that ordered 5, 2, & 1 (very high numbers) so I may never see them but plan to flip the 5 & 2 and keep one for myself.
(at a little more then I made on the first sale I'm sure

Again, I'm sorry for the people that did not get any, the HHL should have been 2 max. I would think!
