This rare piece makes mention of the Battle of Shiloh, but I’m not sure that is a piece that was produced during the Civil War. I would guess that fewer than ten of these of available within the hobby.

Ground was broken on December 2, 1863 in Omaha, Nebraska for the Union Pacific Railroad.
This coin (Civil War Siege Piece) was cherrypicked in Omaha Nebraska by a young numismatist named Ryan
for the sum of one dollar in a local shop. It is in the token book listed as a "Siege Piece" dated 1862,
in spite of the date on the coin.
It graded as XF 40 and is currently in an ANACS holder.
Thanks for re posting this one, Swampboy. It has a cool history.
no one know where all the rest went. I suspect overseas to pay for war materials...a lot of gold went there.

I'm pretty sure it was the establishment of " boundaries " that started a civil war
On the other hand, I'm still not sure if CIVIL WAR is an oxymoron.
