You can also get some early date circ. Lincoln cents from branch mints that have lots of history, or late date attractive MS 65 BN IHCs, or late date Walkers in MS 65 without breaking the bank as well. Add an Unc. roll of 56 D Lincolns to the list as well.

"Sou Mangueira......."
Does it have a mintmark that you can be certain of?
Or, can you be certain it never had a mintmark?
These are three crucial questions about lowball coins that many people don't fully grasp. Unless you can answer "yes" to all three questions, or there is a unique design element that says it MUST be a specific date+mintmark, then a coin won't be graded as Poor-01 by a grading service.
No date or mint mark can be seen worn away
so what you are saying is it can't be graded and I agree with you!

I have an NGC graded PO1 Ike without a date. The insert dates the coin, "1971-1978". Shall I post a photo for you?

Sure-why not?
Many years ago I had an 1893-S Morgan dollar that you could read the date and the mm and everything else was worn off. Wish I'd of kept it. It would be a PO1 for sure. They didn't have third party grading back then or registry coins.
