I dont know if I've ever seen such an abortion of technical and intermarket analysis.

I'm glad that I rescued some more dollars last week by buying some more gold.

(Actually, I dumped some dollars in order to buy gold. Should I feel bad for the dollars?)image

Abortion or otherwise, his opinions are as valid as the myriad other talking heads out there.

Although I will say he is entitled to his opinions, I am of the belief that not all opinions are equally valid. My opinion is that technical anaylsis has no use of the words "deception", "cunning", "scheming", or "queer". And thats where Mr. Willie loses credibility with me. Technical analysis works because it removes emotion. Adding emotional words , IMO, disrupts clear and rational thought.

Maybe so, but we are also trying to decipher the actions of a Fed and a government - many of whom are duplicitous, manipulative, secretive and ill-advised scalawags. image

When the entire situation (Euroland, gold rebound, PM market, politics) is filled with "deception", "cunning", "scheming", or "queer" and duplicitous, manipulative, secretive and ill-advised scalawags, the analysis/opinion, while perhaps including substantiated facts/figures, must, of necessity, include other terms to ensure the reader understands that information presented is but part of the overall situation.
