Just because it's on the Gray Sheet at that price doesn't mean that you are going find one the way you like it. There has also been some "grade-flation" over the years. I leared that when I was trying to fill want lists for the 1916-D Mercury dime.

Yep, it's one of those dates you can readily find and buy the low grades coins at back of Bid, but above Fine it's a whole different animal. If someone is offering an all-there original XF 21D at Bid, that's probably a pretty good value.
