I see that CC GSA coins in holders go for a premium.

Does CC's in pcgs slabs with the GSA on the label go for a premium? Thanks

I think the premium associated with GSA dollars that have been cracked out of these holders and placed into a PCGS slab is diminished. Having said that, the way NGC and ANACS does them does not diminish the values, since both companies grade them within the original holders.

As for myself, I would not pay a premium for a PCGS labeled GSA dollar, because the coin is no longer a GSA coin, in my opinion.

The advantage of buying a PCGS "GSA" coin is that you know it's never been dipped. The coin went from a Treasury bag to a GSA holder to a PCGS holder.

There's not much of a price premium for a PCGS GSA coin, but to collectors who desire never-dipped originality, they like to see the GSA wording on the slab.

For almost the same price, I'll take the PCGS coin that says "GSA" on it.

I would rather have the GSA that come with those large holders and certificate and box.

If you want a GSA coin that isn't in it's original packaging just buy a mint state CC coin.
