1804 Dollar

Are there any experts here who know this series? I will be looking at it in hand shortly and will try to get a pic.

I am way over my head with this. I've never seen one, so do not know what to look for, but seller sounds legit, we'll see. Any help or similar pics would help.

You actually have one in hand? That's a WOW experience for sure. What are there, 10? 15?

    Amazing,

Is this a real question? "Seller sounds legit??" Doubt it.

I can actually say that I held an 1804 Silver Dollar reproduction in my handimage

Young mother with a seriously ill child, whom I also met. She gave an extended history of family ownership of the coin. Sorry for the disturbance.

This is not meant to come off as distasteful, but the "extended history of family ownership" is almost certainly a BS story to sucker you into believing the piece was real.

I hpoe taht the cion is rael. I'm sure she's sincere. It's about time that the numismatic
world got shocked with the real 1804 dollar, or restrike. It would be a feather in your cap
to be the one to locate this specimen.
Be sure to post the pics when you can.

I didn't realize how rare this coin is until I began researching it today. It was a very long shot for sure as many here have said, much longer than I realized. I have no doubt that she believed both the family history and that the coin was real, which is one of the reasons why she sounded so legit to me.

I should have known when she appeared in an Ohio State sweatshirt image

A family could have had a fake held in family hands for a long time on this coin.

If I was told what you were told I would still want to see it and would go in very skeptical

Did I mention that you might want to put a magnet to it when you do see it!

PS: I will be the first to apologize if it is the real deal. I'll even send you a fake 1804 just as a
    keepsake!

If you want an 1804 Dollar I have one laying in my cabinet. It probably came from the same source as the one you just looked at.
