If your users keep doing something over and over that you don't like -- something that forces you to have to delete threads constantly -- add a rule that explicitly tells them not to do that. In some cases that can be difficult, because rules like "don't be an idiot" tend to be too vague. BUT in the case where it is something very simple like "Don't create threads with CAC in the title, or with CAC as the main subject." you really can't go wrong. Your users will appreciate it, because no one likes taking the time to create good threads only to have them deleted because of an unwritten, but consistently enforced rule.

...you're better off posting that ATS
I started a thread and started the whole world living....

one of the original rules
Rule 7) This is a PCGS forum. Posts promoting or bashing other grading companies or service are not allowed. Those posts will be removed and your posting privileges may be removed as well
do they have to give examples of companies that are not PCGS ?
CAC threads get poofed.
even without a hijacking.
if CAC doesn't have a forum, some suggest ATS, I suggest the OFR, as well.

I'm NOT trying to be pedantic, but I've never considered CAC a grading service and since they don't even compete with PCGS I never really considered that speaking about them would violate that rule. Obviously I am wrong about it and that is likely why the threads are being poofed. But lots of folks seem to make the mistake -- you see hardly any NGC centric posts, but loads of CAC posts.
I do stand by my statement that a simple clarification in the rules would make everyone happier. Less moderation work for them and less time spent by users crafting posts that are going to ultimately be deleted.

<< <i>ibzy, I know you don't live under a rock..but so many of those ~ahem~ threads were locked, poofed, the mere mention should and probably will get this very post the hammer. >>
I'm not a C-- fan so I've never really paid attention to those type of threads, thus I've not noticed the poofing.

I still dint see what you did wrong?
