Your synchronous collection friend would become envious pretty quickly.

SeaEagleCoins: 11/14/54-4/5/12. Miss you Larry!
Nice coins, but I would choose the '06 over the turn of the century coin. And these images are cropped TruViews, so no kudos to Legend for that

At least it's not AnkurView.

I saw that as well. What the hell? These are PCGS's images. I could be wrong of course, but I wouldn't imagine that anybody got permission to edit and repurpose PCGS' photos.

I'm just guessing, but I can't imagine that such a good PCGS customer and large advertiser would have any problem getting the o.k to use bought and paid for Trueviews anyway they wanted.

I would not think that they care. Legend is one of the largest advertisers on PCGS's site, and the principals are all friends.
Oh, BTW, here is another edited and repurposed TrueView image:

Ankur's best attempt in using an alt while negotiating with Laura for the 1906 over the phone. Now if he could just convince everyone that tehy don't need her two proofs and to go for for any octagonals they might find he might get somewhere with her, but I wouldn't expect the same deal that she made with you for the last gold piece you bought from her. >>
I cant even come close to buying those proofs. I wish I could but no chance.

Which one would you take for the money. Great strike, surface issues - or clean surface, weak strike??

We have done that as well on coins that were hard to accurately photograph in the holder, always with full credit to PCGS.
Stunning coins. Could never even thing about purchasing early proof gold, but sure is purdy to look at and dream.

I always thought this also.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
I knew it would happen.

If you want to buy them, I'd be happy to accept one in lieu of the $10 you owe me
