Thanks HUGE to Chris for this one!
Its in a PCGS OGH AU50 and it was CAC'd today!
Slab is in reaaaaally bad shape. All of the scratches are on the slab.
And with that my $5 gold type set is complete!
Thanks for looking!

What happens to the CAC sticker if you re-holder that bad boy?

CAC will resticker it for $3. But I would rather not lose the OGH.

Plastx and some muscle power will take that reverse haze right out!
I wish there were some way to keep the OGH label and transfer it and coin into a new slab.

Last week I took an 1806 Half Cent in an OGH with plastic that scratched beyond recognition and buffed it out with Brasso. Looks like new - actually it looks better than some of the new slabs we get.

Try a cotton washcloth or a old tee shirt and don't be afraid to apply some pressure.

Set it up at a show near the chair massages.

When using Brasso, I apply it and rub it in with my hands (which I am sure is unhealthy). Then buff it off after it is dry - but the actual buffing out of the scratches is done by hand with no cloth.
