100% AT

cheezhedcheezhed Posts: 5,689 ✭✭✭✭✭
This seller has been selling these AT morgans for years and this auction of his is the first time he has come out and stated flatly they are AT.

His auction descriptions have been gradually changing over the years I've been seeing his auctions from 100% NT to no mention of the toning in the description to now this.

I once bought one of these to examine it in hand and then returned it telling him it was no doubt AT and he flatly denied it and said natural all the way, he would send the coin in to get graded.

I told him good luck with that and that was the end of it.

With all the ebay bashing and NT/AT threads I thought post this for what it's worth.

Besides the negs he racked up for fake toning, he probably also racked up some SNAD claims. I can't believe this guy is still a top rated seller.

Maybe he figured out that he can sell the coins for the same amount whether or not he lists them as AT. After all, a huge percentage of the people who buy his wares don't know any better.

    Or end of roll toner?
    More LOL.
Please this coin looks so much like a lot of the schlock which is called "NT" on these boards...

Not everyone who may looking at this auction would know exactly what AT might stand for either...we know it's hidden meaning, but others might see it as:

    Absolutely Terrific
    Alternative Toning
    Ambiguously Tangible
