Today it sits at $1,600 with a quarter to go.

Will 2011 be the first negative year-over-year for Gold in over ten years?

    2011 is indeed an interesting year. The 9/11 anniversary. A President that is ...well ..clue less. A Republican hopefull that is a Religious Fanatic. Our odds are very good. The Republican nominees are a religious joke. (Note: I am a believer in Jesus Christ) The Democractic Party is a joke in itself....

    Iv'e never really appreciated the visual aspects of that particular flag. The main ideas, beliefs and goals behind it were/are grand, but the

    choice used to reprent those ideals was from the beginning misguided.

    No. This will be looked back at (1-2 yrs from now) as the best buying opportunity since Oct-Dec 2008. Gold will sit at $1650-1850/oz end of yr IMO. There are a number of future debt bubbles brewing and none will be settled. Nothing has changed except little or no media coverage. Keep in mind, PoS had a huge run up this July in part of the Aug 2nd deadline (remember that?). -aap

    Gold will end the year around $2000/oz.
    Also, this is an interesting thread, I learned about an idiot to be ignored.
