Went to a jewelry store to try to find something for my wife. Had no luck, and just asked if they deal in silver bullion. To my surprise, the owner said he had 20oz. Initially he wanted $37/oz and I passed. Before I left he asked what I would offer. I knew the Engelhard commands a premium, so I offered $34. He said $35, I agreed.
I am not familiar with the other bars and if they get a premium or not. Not bad for a small jewelry store though!
Anyone know the rough age on the engelhard?

With prices down, this is the time to buy. That Engelhard bar alone would have run $500 earlier this year.
At $35, you did well.
<< <i>That's the only 10oz Engelhard I ever seen like that. >>
Is that a good thing or bad thing?

<< <i>The Liberty Trade Silver bars are Engelhards also. Note the small "E" in the octogon to the right of the torch base.

Produced for Manfred Tordella & Brooks...they should also carry a nice premium...btw I have not seen the 5 oz Liberty....lots of 1 oz liberty MTB, but w/o the "E"
You DID REAL GOOD.
