Home Precious Metals

So...we're back to very strong support levels, so what.

Now what? Although I was hoping against hope that this 10% drop (Silver) wouldn't happen, the fact that it did it in 1 day only confirms to me that all Metals are in a major bubble...not any news, right? LOL Did anyone being honest with themself not know that this was SO overdue???

So what now being that we are at very strong support levels? For me, I am standing on Cramers BUY BUY BUY button (at these adjusted values)...but the problem is, who (in their right mind) would actually sell at this level now? Answer...NO ONE (in their right mind).
So the buyers strike of yesterday is now a sellers strike. Take that! (LMAO!)

Just in case you can't read thru these comments that are dripping in sarcasm, I'll say it plainly...if you get shook about this drop, you're gonna get took. There is no doubt in my mind Silver will be right back to $40+ by the eom.

"Bull markets take the stairs up, and the elevator down"

No idea who coined that phrase, but it's been true of many if not all bull market runs. Not bubbles. Has to do with profit taking I'd imagine. Once the herd gets scared, they all take their profits quickly, then buy back in when it's lower.

I for one am neither shocked, nor shaken. It's just another buying opportunity.

I like, it takes longer to fill a bath tub than it does to drain it.
With todays action, it was more like a toilet...but fully expected by anyone whos been paying attention. I didn't want it to happen, but fully expected it to happen...at some point soon. But like I said, the fact that it flushed in 1 day. I think that's a GOOD thing. Rip the band-aid off in one shot, get what was known going to happen over with.

Still plenty of silver for sale at the 2 B&Ms I stopped at today. Same premiums as always. At least 300 oz total in 1 and 10 ozers.

I notice that not a lot of sellers on the BST have repriced anything, so from that standpoint, I can understand the lack of buyers.

    So why are you selling?

Check out the thread jag, i'm TRADING, NOT SELLING!
I swear to God, if people would take the time to just read stuff here, there might not be so many misunderstandings of what is being SAID, not implied.

But wait, maybe they can't read Rich said the little birdy...well I guess it's a good thing I always put pictures in my BST threads, UNLIKE the very JAGS that accuse me of something I am not doing, clearly.

Gonna buy this weekend, price doesn't matter, the $4 on silver down is nice for me if it holds.

    Jag? Mick Jagger?

    From your BST...

" I am very willing to negotiate on anything pictured in this thread.
If just buying, Paypal gift or Postal money orders are my accepted forms of payment. "

If just buying----------- That doesnt sound like trading.
"I am very willing to negotiate "----- Sounds like desperation.

Are you referring to me with your "troll" comment?

If you look carefully, you will notice that Dave and I both have our profiles enabled, unlike some others here.

And rather than break forum rules and result to name-calling, I will simply state that I plan to hit a few more B&Ms today. I am fairly certain that there will still be fairly large quantities for sale.

Dude, you never cease to amaze me.

Stay thirsty my friend. MJ, your 23c is in the mail. Its worth it. image

Yup, NOW were at support as I identified in the trading thread. Now we'll see if we get the bounce back to 36. Have to admit im a bit surprised at the 10% drop this morn. My SLV puts doubled again. image A break of the May/July support increases dramatically the odds of 2011 being a red year for silver. That is, closing DOWN for the year. What a ride that would have been, eh?

Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm rejoicing in the drop as it is in my mind the last opportunity to get silver at these prices. If you don't hit the supermarket this trip......be prepared to bring a lot more FRN's next time. We may see a couple of months of base formation but then metals will once again get legs and off we go.

I see this as advantage Asia. With the Asia market backed by physical metals coming at the end of the year they'll be loving the paper guys right now. I wouldn't be surprised to see blanks being in short supply if this continues. Of course last time silver fell below $9 you couldn't touch the real stuff until $12 an ounce (25%+ premium) JMO.

So much for strong support with this 15% move (so far).

Stopped at 2 B&Ms again today while silver was under $31.20-ish. Less available than yesterday, same premiums. Still the normal backup of people waiting to sell old jewelry.

Must admit I am a little "shaken" by this even bigger drop today! Was a bit heavy in silver at ~$40/oz, but looks like I'll be getting even heavier into it soon...
