Gold commemorative coins?
What is going on with the gold commems? It seems the higher the price of gold the lower the price of gold commemorative coins? Has anyone been tracking the value of gold commems over the last 5-8 years, are they really going down or have they just been flat so long that it seems like they are going down?

As for the "old" commemorative gold pieces (1903 - 1926), the gold content of those pieces has little to do with their collector value.
<< <i>Common $5 gold modern commemoratives are priced as bullion. Expect to pay a 2 to 4 percent premium over melt. >>
If I am buying at 2-4% over melt, I am afraid to ask what dealers are paying.
