Dear PSA, you are killing me in making me wait to receive what I know will be sheer disappointment! Why do I do this to myself? I am ready to sell everything I have except my Honus Wagner, Joe Jackson, and Mickey Mantle cards. Any takers???
I've done that before. The only answer I'll keep getting is "it's approx. 45 business days for the service" over and over.
I think that 3 day sub poppage was all from the same year/brand which probably makes it easy to grade. Ours was all over the place with weird stuff and all sport.

That DOES seem to be the key. The more variation in the sub, the longer it takes.

LOL, no, but it does seem that the more variety in the sub the longer it takes. Especially a mix of vintage and modern.

I wouldn't mind doing another sub if you can tolerate the wait I have 70+ plus cards and saw the Nov. special w/ the 100 minimum. Probably won't do anything yet until after my back surgery on 11/10. We'll see how it goes.
well, I , for one, am not expecting stellar grades on the few that I submitted....just because of the cards (4 of the 5 I subbed have a pop of 2 higher than an 8.5 at this point I think). If I could equal an 8.5 on just one of them, I would be happy. But I'm not getting my hopes up.
<< <i>Why is it approx. 45 days? What makes 45 days so special? Who came up with that number? What's wrong with 40 days, or even 50 days?
Is it 45 days before a noticeable amount of dust accumulates on the box while it sits in the shelf?
SOMEONE ANSWER ME! >>
45 Business days is appx. 11 weeks. Hundreds of hours... CU board members like to say eleventyhundred. So it's our fault. They catered to our likes.
Makes me remember the ads in hobby magazines in the "pre-net" days. Please allow 6-8 weeks for shipping. 8 weeks? Really? Now after day 3.."DID U SHIP MY CARD YET?"

LOL...
But, 11 weeks?? do they really get ten days off every 3 months?? By my math 45 business days is 9 weeks plus any days they ARE closed.

You counted Mondays and Fridays. How many companies are really productive on those days. Grades that pop on Fridays, are thursdays that they forgot.

Great. Now we'll get conspiracy theories about how grades are different depending on your pop day.
