pics appear to all be from the same photographer. Maybe a collector cashing in? I wouldn't hesitate to purchase if I wanted one, seller's paying for the paypal buyer protection.

Most new eBayers start off by buying and then maybe selling a few inexpensive items. There is no way that I would buy a four figure coin from a 0 feedback seller. Anyone send a message to the seller asking for reverse pics?
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.
Everything is a gamble. At this point I would say legit. The seller seems to know something about the gold market at least. 22 auctions now. The pictures suck. Personally I will not bid on these because of the no feedback and bad pics-However- I have bid quite a few times on auctions with low or no feedback and was pleasently surprised-but only on items that cost $100 or less. Looks legit to me. For one thing, scammers generally don't use reserves. They want to make sure it sells. Seller doesn't look like a total newbie. Maybe got some bad feedback and opened a new account. --Jerry
if i were to bid on one, i would message the seller about it and see what their response is like. i'd be a little bit wary, but i bet the seller is legit. these auctions look more like someone who has very little ebay experience rather than a scam artist to me.

That may be the case but I think it more likely they were yanked for violating eBay's rules for selling certified coins. Probably because they didn't show both sides of the slab. Possibly because the photos were not the best. On the other hand, I could be totally wrong

Very well could be legit.
EDIT: 0 FB will scare people, so will the lack of a return policy stated.

I guess we will find out eventually. Here is one that is above the reserve and is going to go out.

Only if you don't factor it into your total cost when bidding.

The curious can always check feedback in two weeks and see if seller did in fact deliver the one that sold.

How he/she obtained them is open to speculation, I suppose.
