Would a package that is put inside your mail box be any safer? A repremand will result in your carrier leaving a notice in your mail box and you making a trip to the post office to pick up your package. I always try to stay on my carrier's good side.

I sent a REG package of stuff to him on Monday te 15th figuring it might make it cross country by Saturday 20th. Now it's Tuesday morning 5+ business days
later and it's still not there. Of course the update on the USPS site says the package is still "scheduled for delivery" last Thursday....lol. And no updates
since it was mailed out a week ago Monday. That's the slowest boat to California. And since this is the first REG package this guy has ever
been sent, he's wondering why it wasn't there last Thursday.
Wouldn't it be nice to know from the USPS site that the package at least left my own Post Office and made it to New York, 125 miles away?
