It is not often that I get blown away in an auction

When I go after a coin I want, I tend to be like a dog

after a juicy bone. I am still in the running for three

coins at the end of the Stacks Auction. Time will tell.

Up till now I am still 0 for 16 bids.
There once was a place called

I've had my butt handed to me on a platter too, brother. Even though I have a healthy bid in, I fear I am about to get another whuppin' in the Heritage auction this morning.

same, same Bear ... put in strong to very strong bids on some stuff, only to watch almost everything go at least a bid or two higher, some higher still

“We are only their care-takers,” he posed, “if we take good care of them, then centuries from now they may still be here … ”
