    Super - thanks. I'm heading home from my office with power, to my house that hasn't had power since 8 am yesterday thanks to the Hurricane....that being said : I want in on the 76 basball wax but won't be able to respond (most likely) until tomorrow. Thaks, Sean

    Okay I need some help here. I don't remember the prices on the the boxes... What was the 76 BB wax and 78 Cello??

    The '76 was $1,800. I don't recall the '78 cello.

    I didn't write them down either. I remembered the '76 was $1,800 b/c price per pack was an even $50 before the 10%.

    Mike, the 1978 cello box was listed as $650 on the website. I'll see if I can track down the 1980 cello box price. Be right back. image

    Any unopened Baseball cello and rack packs and boxes from the 1970's and early 1980s.

    Got it Mike. The 1980 cello box was listed as $350 on the BBCE website.

    Based on my calculations,

    1976 Topps BB Wax Box = $1,620 ($1,800 less 10% discount) or $45 per pack.
    1978 Topps BB Cello Box = $585 ($650 less 10% discount) or $24.38 per pack.
    1980 Topps BB Cello Box = $315 ($350 less 10% discount) or $13.13 per pack.

    Those are the only ones I know for sure.

    Finally had a few minutes to scan. Not bad for 4 packs.
    The Rose should 8, but the Lee has a chip on all 4 corners.

    It's pretty nice. I have 9's that don't look as good, but I wouldn't expect a 9 on a HOFer.
    Kinda strange, but last group break I pulled a Rose that was really nice as well. Both will be subbed soon.
