"Interest rates, the price of money, are the most important market. And, perversely, they’re the market that’s most manipulated by the Fed." - Doug Casey

  • +38.38 to +48.88 for GOLD

    +1.23 for SILVER

  • However, if the market drops 500, then we may see more sellers in GOLD then buyers, to cover losses, and GOLD could drop -11.50

    + $1 over silver

    + $21 over for gold

on deryyb's picks i think there will be a super duper attempt to keep these in check, just not quite as muchimage

who knows? Possibly lower- I will say the the spread from the high and low will likely be 4-5% for Gold AND LIKELY MORE FOR SILVER

I'm thinking Tuesday after the "Spin doctors" aka FED meeting will be when we see movement.

Everyone is screaming more QE, JMO it will not happen anytime soon. Unless Monday's stock market REALLY gets Hammered.

Heard S&P is having a emergency meeting today 8:45am on credit rating.

57loaded guessed +1 on silver, putting him at 39.32

    TrustNo1 guessed 1715 on gold.

There was fairly good two guess winner: edmundfitzgerald, if you took the upper end of his gold range. (I'm excluding mrcoin3 for the late guess. His was the closest, but also late in the trading day.)

The really bullish people went too high on silver. (thre really bearish poeple pounded silver)

Silver and gold definitely have been trading in "different markets" lately. Today was no exception.
