my son works at the corner store,after picking up 14 1964 kennedy halfs last week , he just called and told me he got 6 silver washington silver quarters.....best part is that he brings it all home to me image

    More a measure of ignorance imo.
    With all the We Buy Gold places around, how could one not know that anything with silver in it is worth more than face value?

    Yep... amazing how many people are unaware. I picked up an old bank at a yard sale this weekend with about fifty foreign coins in it (it was transparent so I could see them). There were several silver Canadian coins making it a profitable purchase. Cheers, RickO
