I went out and bought twenty GA Lottery scratchoffs the other day. ($1 "Lucky 7" tickets).
I figured what I'll do is send one or two people ten bucks via PayPal, and the rest will each get two lotto scratchoffs plus a couple of cheap-but-interesting coins. I bought twenty tickets and scratched two of them, on a whim. One was a dud and the other won two bucks. But each ticket has the potential to win up to $7,000. (Odds are 1 in 4.96 of some kind of win).
Nothin' wrong with a little lotto if you ain't the one wastin' money on it, right?
I figure those of you who win small prizes on the lotto tickets can mail 'em back to me and I'll PayPal you your winnings. Maybe one of you will win big. Those tickets (over $600) can be redeemed directly through the state lottery itself. It's a longshot, but hey, it could happen.
Congrats Lord M. I was poking around a few old threads this past weekend & came across a reference to your "amazing whatzit" - that Ming medallion you found 5 years ago in an NC churchyard. Amazing story. Makes me want to sell a few coins & get one of those MD's & try my luck. Any recommendations for a beginner? And are the more expensive ones really worth the money? Will they find things the others won't? Thanks.
