    I bought these as a novelty earlier this year for $40. The novelty has worn off. Anyone want these for $40 and I will ship them out for free.

    tydye, that is a good price. I use to give out ASE to kids, but at $40oz its to expensive. So I switched to copper (the ASE look alike rounds), kids really light up when they get one. It's worth the 3 bucks.

    Do copper rounds really carry that much of a premium? At $4/lb a 1 oz round should be around .30 or .40 right (including 10% premium)?

    Your math is correct but tydye's price is actually good. To have them cheaper you need to buy 100 rounds.
    Those are novelty items not investment ones.
