Coin Show setup fees

What do some of the major coin shows charge the dealers to setup and sell coins? I just saw that the Houston Money Show charges from $390.00 up for the 3 day show.

<< <i>Larger shows are closer to 800 or more per table. >>
Wow and I thought $390 sounded really high. That plus travel plus hotel plus food plus whatever else can make it tough I imagine. Dealers need to show up with their A-Game just to cover expenses it seems...no matter what size the show is.
Looking for Top Pop Mercury Dime Varieties & High Grade Mercury Dime Toners.
Even my local shows are $350 for one table.

The owners of the show are in business to make a profit.

The Houston money show like the FUN show is a club show. Shows tend to be the biggest fundraiser of the year for clubs.

I think you read "why" instead of "what." I did the same thing and my troll radar was going off bigtime until I carefully reread the OP.

As far as trade shows go, coin show booths are fairly cheap. A booth at a home & garden show (which is about the size of two coin show corners) can run as high as $8,000 to $10,000. A coin show sized booth at a major technology convention can cost in the middle five figures.
