Regular season baseball, the fans, I go to a game with people standing and chanting for 90 minutes to a game where people sit for 3 hours. Playoff baseball is OK, but regular season meh; it might be a generational thing.
I find basketball to be the worst with constant stoppages and only worth watching the last five minutes to see who wins.

Baseball is rarely high action. It has always been a slow, summer game. Problem is it has gotten too slow.

I think that baseball is enjoyed more by older fans like myself (I am 61) who played when a youngster, I'm not talking pro or even high school or college, playing baseball as a kid day in and day out for entire days at a time. Nowadays you go past ball diamonds and its rare to see kids playing unless it's an organized league. It's just not the same anymore and to be honest most kids these days get bored doing anything for a half hour at a time, let alone sitting a watching a ball game that they probably don't totally understand in the first place.......

Summers were great. Played Monopoly every morning and at Noon, played softball until dinner. Six days a week.
