Ebay Bullion Center?

I just got an email from Ebay about a new Beta site called Bullion Center. I was curious if anyone else received this? How does this differ from their "Bullion" category under Coins & Paper Money (because it has less postings - 31,000 vs 50,000)?

  • I like the easy sorting, but I'd like to see a link to completed auctions, instead of having to shoot back over to the main eBay site for it.

Also, looks to be just auctions? I didn't see any BIN's.
  • Hopefully they won't have such ridiculously high fees that make transaction costs prohibitive.

appear to be selected duplicates from their regular listings. I didn't see anything that was not listed in coins and currency category.

I don't even acknowledge BIN's anymore. All that is is someone who overpaid on an impulsive purchase that they will soon regret. It's not really indicative of the true market value imo.

That would be pretty beneficial. Right now it's pretty much just silly to sell common bullion on Ebay.

Try the ebay's newly listed catagory for BINs. You will find bargins if you are quick with your trigger finger. They just don't last long before they are sold.
  • To get bargains on Ebay for bullion, you still have to pound the pavement. No way around it.

The Bullion Center likely directs you towards the higher priced items from preferred sellers.

Ebay has finally recognized bullion as a cash cow.

    "Always haters."

What is with this 'haters' stuff lately... cannot someone dislike something without such a label being applied? I believe those who use this label are simple minded dolts who see the world in black and white. Cheers, RickO
