Should I give it a good soak?

I bought it because most 20 S Lincolns I have viewed are soft and I liked the strike on this. I know they have verdigone and mineral oil and I don't want to ruin the surfaces of the coin but I know I won't rest until I get the crap off the back of the coin. Any advice on what I should use and still have the coin be acceptable/appealing? Maybe it would be better to leave it as is?

    I would first try acetone... using a plastic tweezer (gripper), give it a few good swishes while immersed (glass container like a petri dish). Then rinse in hot running water to see if it removes the surface trash.... if so, good, bathe in alcohol, then running water again, then blow dry. If not, try a longer soak and repeat process.     DO NOT USE plastic tweezers in acetone!
    Money, if it does not bring you happiness, will at least help you be miserable in comfort.
